Crossroads was looking for something modernish, minimalistic and natural. The goal was to keep the existing concept and symbolism from their previous logo but create a sleek new brand identity that can be used across all media.

“Crossroads”—Gray Maine’s motto was “the Crossroads of Maine.” This references the multicultural family, different walks of life, and the cross of Jesus.

Crossroads didn't believe in holding to "churchy" traditions for the sake of tradition. They have a broad mix of youths to silvers and everything in between. They wanted new ideas while still holding on to their values.
MODERNISH + MINIMALISTIC
Design with intention, sticking to things that are important. In keeping the intersection + the cross, the edges were cleaned up and a new sans serif type was brought into the mix to give the brand a more modern feel. A shift in the perspective of the logo and intentional curves makes the intersection + cross symbolism more prominent.
